After Robert Kehres’s undergraduate studies at Cambridge, Robert began his career in Hong Kong aged 20 at LIM Advisors, a multi-strategy hedge fund with c. USD 2 billion in AUM at the time and now the longest continually operating hedge fund in Asia. Beginning as a Summer Analyst on the special situations desk, Robert broadened his scope to strategy and the convertible bond arbitrage desk before commencing his graduate studies at Oxford.

Robert Kehres was a Quantitative Trader on the eFX trading desk at J.P. Morgan in London performing high frequency trading within the Sales and Trading division. The strategy underwent a considerable revamp from the team, and J.P. Morgan saw a significant uptick in P&L and volume since Robert's arrival. J.P. Morgan went from being ranked outside the top 5 in 2013 to consistently top in recent years in the majority of the FX Markets eFX awards.

Robert Kehres founded Origin Markets with three traders from bulge-bracket investment banks. Origin Markets has the fundamental goal of democratizing and digitalizing the debt capital markets division of investment banks, thereby eliminating the middleman and reducing margin compression. Most recently, Origin Markets raised a GBP 7 million Series A round. Robert was instrumental in launching Origin Markets with the initial product build.

Robert Kehres founded the London-based B2B F&B enterprise SaaS venture Dynamify and oversaw all responsibilities technology-related, managing a data scientist, a product manager, a team of software engineers, and a UI/UX designer—while bootstrapping the Dynamify to two VC-backed equity financing rounds, valued at GBP 5 million post-money three years after inception, after which the venture became EBITDA-profitable.

Robert Kehres was an Investment Professional at Photon Capital, a renewable energy private equity firm headquartered in Tokyo with a secondary office in Taipei. At Photon Capital, Robert evaluated and managed investments in various renewable energy projects for the funds of group companies JE Capital Partners, Photon Japan, and Photon Taiwan.

Robert Kehres founded Amsterdam-based, two-time VC-funded venture Yoho by henQ Capital, raising EUR 650K and achieving Series A status. Yoho was a productivity SaaS platform that enabled companies to connect, engage, and instruct frontline employees—offering them a seamless platform to manage tasks and share information more effectively.

Robert Kehres was a Product Advisor at Amsterdam-headquartered Pegafund, which provides advisory to European SaaS ventures in the growth equity phase (Series B to D) for achieving scalable growth by offering often overlooked CFO services with a modernized touch, led by a former London-based VC.

Robert Kehres founded 18 Salisbury Capital, a Pan-Asian convertible bond arbitrage, event-driven, special situations, and statistical arbitrage hedge fund aged 30 with three buy-side veterans from elite calibre backgrounds, all of whom have at least 15 years of institutional investment management experience in Asia.

After a c. GBP 1 million pre-seed equity financing round, Robert Kehres founded venture KOTH Gaming, a fantasy sports betting and gaming digital casino headquartered in London, curating and revolutionizing the best and next generation of sporting games and betting experiences offered in this world.

Robert Kehres is a Founding Partner at Longshanks Capital, a systematic equity derivatives proprietary trading firm he founded with a partner with a PhD in Finance with postdoctoral research experience in Finance at Oxford and Cambridge. Robert manages a team of Quantitative Strategists.
